The collection consists mainly of family photographs, but also includes some genealogy, correspondence, printed material and
a scrapbook.
There are letters from Jim to his mother while he was stationed in Cuba, and letters to William from his cousin Herman De
La Perriere and friend Paul Hosch, Jr. who was aboard the U.S.S. Catskill. The photo albums of Jim De La Perriere include
photographs of his activities at the Naval Base, Winder High School, and the University of Georgia. There are group photographs
of SAE fraternity members, Athens High School sports teams, and Winder High School class of 1944. The scrapbook contains
obituaries of Homer Clarence De La Perriere and condolence letters.
